NewCardio is a science and technology driven company with the mission of fully developing and commercializing a three dimensional (3D) approach to electrocardiography (ECG) in order to increase the diagnostic value of the most widely used cardiology test. Ultimately our vision is to add value to each and every ECG as it is currently utilized in practice today, as well as extending its use to include, but not be limited to, replacing more costly, and sometimes invasive and potentially harmful, diagnostic procedures.

The company is developing and validating a novel, patent pending 3D ECG platform technology to dramatically improve the quality, timeliness and cost of the standard 12-lead ECG for diagnosing common acute and chronic heart disease and for evaluating cardiac safety of new drugs. NewCardio's 3-dimensional ECG approach allows faster, more accurate and less expensive assessment of cardiac status. And what is important in the development of the advanced science and technology underlying our approach is that the NewCardio platform technology relies on the standard 12-lead ECG signal as the input, requiring no change in how the 12-lead ECG is obtained.

NewCardio is currently developing the first three solutions made possible by our 3D platform technology, to include:

  • QTinno®, an automated cardiac safety analysis solution for detecting cardiac toxicity in new drug development;
  • CardioBip™, a wireless monitoring solution which delivers a full 12-lead ECG for remote diagnosis and review of patients with chronic cardiac conditions; and
  • my3KG™, which delivers more accurate and timely diagnosis of suspected heart attacks in urgent care settings.

We believe that all of the solutions that will eventually be made possible through our 3D platform technology represent the potential to deliver significant advancement of the ECG from its current practice. Based on its ability to access and deliver more information than is now achievable in the 2D approach to presenting ECG's, the outcome will be the ability to make more accurate and timely decisions. This will no doubt result in the ability to save costs, a very important element in today's drug development and health care settings. But even more importantly, these solutions will save lives. And for NewCardio that is our ultimate goal: to be able deliver advanced science and technology, through the ECG, that will benefit society by providing significant savings in both costs and lives.
